Product Manager II

We are looking for a Product Manager II to join the Office Engineering Systems team to lead the product roadmap for Security Experience that drives some of the largest productivity applications in the world. Responsibilities
- Brainstorm and communicate ideas.
- Listen to and incorporate feedback.
- Provide perspectives to others.
- Have a hands-on approach to writing developer specs and perform design reviews.
- Create clarity in requirements, embrace agility, fend off scope creep, confirm development approaches and timelines, and support the team to build and deliver high quality and secure solutions on time.
- Promote hypothesis-driven product development and data-driven decision making.
- Lead the product strategy and roadmap for security tooling and experiences across ES365.
- Drive adoption of SFI and secure engineering practices across Office and Substrate engineering systems.
- Partner with engineering, compliance, and security teams to ensure systems meet Microsoft’s security and compliance standards.
- Improve DevEx by identifying friction points and collaborating with engineering to deliver scalable solutions.
- Define and track KPIs for security posture, SFI wave completion, and developer productivity.
- Represent IDC in cross-org security and compliance forums and drive alignment with Redmond counterparts.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years working as a Technical Product Manager with engineering teams and a demonstrated experience technical feature design and understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
- Proven ability to drive large scale projects with high collaboration and leadership.
- Detail oriented and able to rapidly come up to speed on complex technologies and architectures.
- Excellent cross group collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to lead virtual teams to deliver on product milestones.
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
- 2+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
