The Framework Web Infrastructure team focuses on providing common software components used throughout the Teams ecosystem. We are searching for a passionate and experienced Software Engineer II to contribute to our domain through improvements and new features. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front end web framework features using Javascript/Typscript.
- Assist in driving architectural changes by profiling and improving UX performance and frontend architecture, together with design and leadership.
- Invest in the growth of an inclusive and capable environment by mentoring and training team members within the team and across the org.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Javascript and/or Typescript experience.
- Knowledge of UI frameworks like React, Apollo and AngularJS.
- Ability to ramp up quickly on new technologies and adopt solutions from within the company or from the Open Source community.
- Experience with agile project management methodologies.
- Exceptional problem solving & debugging skills.
- Solid in self-direction, problem solving, critical thinking, communication skills and customer empathy.
- Software development and testing experience with Front End development technologies.
- Any experience with Apollo GraphQL framework is a plus.
