As a Construction Site Management Apprentice, you’ll be at the heart of Microsoft’s datacenter delivery—ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You’ll learn from experienced site managers and gain hands-on experience in supervising construction activities, managing teams, and driving project success.

About the Team
You’ll join Microsoft’s Datacenter Construction team, working with professionals dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality, and sustainable infrastructure. The team fosters a culture of safety, inclusion, and continuous learning, supporting apprentices to grow into future site leaders.

This is a Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship, combining on-the-job learning with university study. You’ll earn while you learn, gain a recognised degree, and build a career in a future-proof industry. Microsoft is committed to diversity, inclusion, and supporting your growth every step of the way.



Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning, organising, and supervising on-site activities
  • Monitor project progress, report issues, and maintain site records
  • Ensure health & safety standards are met and support quality control
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Help manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
  • Learn to identify risks, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement
  • Support environmental and sustainability initiatives on site


Qualifications
  • Interest in construction management and site operations
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Good communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and ethical standards
  • GCSEs (including Maths & English, grades 9–4) and A-levels/BTEC/T Level or equivalent by September 2026
