As a Product Manager 2 - CoreAI for the Developer Experience team, you’ll define and drive the products that make local AI development delightful and frictionless. You’ll work at the intersection of AI infrastructure, developer tooling, and product design — shaping how developers everywhere create AI-powered apps that run locally and scale globally.

Responsibilities
  • Lead product development for developer tools, SDKs, and APIs that enable local AI on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Drive the product design and usability of SDKs to deliver seamless, high-quality developer experience.
  • Design and improve how AI models are discovered, distributed, and updated across devices.
  • Champion the developer community; gather insights, run feedback loops, and translate needs into powerful features.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure products meet performance, scalability, and usability goals.


Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product management OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of experience in product management, ideally building developer platforms, SDKs, or AI/ML tools.
  • Ability to work independently and drive products from concept to launch in close collaboration with engineering and design.
  • Understanding of developer workflows, APIs, and technical product ecosystems.
  • Experience with AI frameworks, model deployment, or on-device AI.
  • Understanding of AI model optimization and hardware acceleration.
  • Familiar with local AI models, their capabilities, and use cases.
  • Data-informed decision-maker with problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Communication and collaboration abilities with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Passion for creating intuitive, high-quality developer experiences that enable innovation at scale.
  • Open source community presence.


Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
