Position Description:

The Planning and Launch team is seeking a highly motivated individual to manage key Trade Sanctions and Compliance initiatives. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project management/launch process, from the formation of project teams, to creation of project plans / artifacts to leading the team to a successful, on-time, high impact outcome. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building strong relationships with stakeholders and leading discussions to operate work that directly impacts the business vision and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, project artifacts and team structures.
  • Assess impacts and build actionable plans to bring changes to the market.
  • Lead launch initiatives, tracking risks and issues, providing status updates, and ensuring excellence in delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and strategy.
  • Lead key governance meetings to drive decision making and maintain progress
  • Monitor critical paths and ensure timely and successful project completion.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy Launches driven by external Trade / compliance regulations or internal policies impacting our customer, partners and how we do business.
  • Lead project launch teams, facilitate effective meetings, and drive key decisions with stakeholders to ensure a solid Plan of Record.
  • Ensure accountability across various work streams throughout the launch process.
  • Identify requirements, document a working Plan of Record, manage change control, issues, escalations, triage, cross-group coordination, and milestone management.
  • Identify and manage project risks to reduce escalations and ensure a smooth process.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, managing relationships and expectations, and acting as a single point of contact for project queries and escalations.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience with a focus on Operations / compliance program management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools, including MS Project, Excel, Word, Teams, Office Suite, and OneNote.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage at all organizational levels.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a multinational environment.
  • Operations / compliance experience.
  • Strong initiative and drive for continuous improvement and delivery against objectives.
  • Ability to work under and meet continual deadline constraints.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to impact and influence at a senior level.
  • Ability to manage short, medium, and long-term planning horizons concurrently.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles.
  • Experience engaging with Finance Stakeholders.
  • MBA is a plus.
