Overview
We are seeking a Product Manager II to drive innovation and scalability across critical offerings such as Researcher, Declarative Agent (DA), and GPT-5 within our mainline BizChat platform. In this role, you will collaborate with world-class experts in Machine Learning and Large Language Models (LLMs), working with global teams to deliver solutions that empower millions of users worldwide. Your leadership will shape the future of productivity and creativity in the workplace through advanced AI technologies.

As a Product Manager II, you will play a pivotal role in scaling AI features and platforms, focusing on high-impact products that are essential to Microsoft’s business customers. You will partner closely with product, engineering, and science teams worldwide to ensure the successful delivery and continuous improvement of our mainline BizChat capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the product and platform strategy for Researcher, Declarative Agent (DA), and GPT-5, ensuring robust, scalable, and reliable AI-powered features on mainline BizChat.
  • Drive deep technical and scenario-based analyses to enhance AI feature quality and relevance for global markets, with a focus on business productivity solutions.
  • Collaborate with science and engineering teams to build and optimize machine learning infrastructures, improving model quality, performance, and user experience.
  • Engage directly with customers and key partners to gather requirements, prioritize features, and foster trusted relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage complex projects with clear timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with Microsoft’s strategic objectives for BizChat and enterprise AI solutions.
  • Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, promoting best practices in product management and AI development.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 3+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese, with a proven ability to influence and align diverse global teams.
  • Customer-obsessed mindset and the ability to build alliances and drive results across organizational boundaries.
  • Track record of managing the delivery of large-scale, high-impact AI features in business-critical environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • 2+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
  • Overseas working experience and a global perspective on enterprise technology markets.
  • Experience with mainline enterprise communication or productivity platforms.
