We are looking for a Principal Group Engineering Manager to lead the Teams Admin Centre engineering organization. In this role, you will manage a team of engineering managers, architects, and developers driving the evolution of Teams administration to be efficient, intuitive, and impactful. You will spearhead initiatives to transform the admin experience in the era of AI, integrating intelligent automation, agentic workflows, and scalable platform solutions. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with deep technical expertise, a track record of building high-performing teams, and the ability to deliver large-scale, complex systems while shaping the future of enterprise collaboration. Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor engineering managers, architects, and senior developers.
- Drive innovation and transformation in Teams admin experiences leveraging AI and automation.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions.
- Collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional teams to align initiatives with business strategy.
- Foster a culture of technical excellence, inclusivity, and continuous learning.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, leadership by providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and milestones.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: -
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python - OR equivalent experience.
- Deep technical background in building scalable enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of AI-driven workflows, automation, and platform engineering.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Passion for improving user experiences and driving measurable impact.
Preferred Qualifications: -
12+ years of technical engineering experience with 5+ years of leading and managing high-performance engineering teams.
