Overview

We are looking for an AdTech Optimization Engineer to join our Ad Tech team. This role will act as a critical technical partner to our Global Media and Data Science teams, building optimization frameworks that enhance campaign performance and accelerate testing velocity. The AdTech Optimization Engineer will develop systems for bidding, experimentation, incrementality, and ROI modeling to maximize media efficiency — improving ROI by 10% and increasing testing velocity by 40%. This position requires deep technical expertise in AdTech systems, data modeling, and experimentation frameworks, along with the ability to translate media performance goals into scalable, data-driven optimization solutions that drive measurable business impact.



Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain optimization frameworks that improve bidding efficiency, audience targeting, and budget allocation across media platforms. • Develop experimentation and incrementality testing pipelines to evaluate media effectiveness and guide investment decisions. • Build ROI and performance modeling systems to quantify the impact of campaign strategies and improve return on ad spend. • Collaborate with Media, Data Science, and Engineering teams to operationalize advanced optimization algorithms and automated testing workflows. • Integrate machine learning and statistical models into activation workflows to improve media decisioning and measurement precision. • Implement observability and feedback loops that continuously track optimization performance, learning rates, and ROI improvements. • Partner with publisher and data platform teams (Meta, Google, LiveRamp, etc.) to leverage APIs and platform signals for automated campaign optimization. • Continuously enhance testing velocity and scale by automating experiment setup, execution, and reporting. • Document frameworks and best practices to standardize optimization workflows across global campaigns and platforms.



Qualifications

5+ years of experience in AdTech, MarTech, data engineering, or optimization-focused software development. • Proven experience in campaign optimization, bidding systems, or experimentation frameworks within digital advertising ecosystems. • Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and statistical or ML frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). • Deep understanding of incrementality measurement, attribution modeling, and ROI analysis. • Familiarity with cloud environments (GCP, Azure, or AWS) and large-scale data systems (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks). • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate media performance and modeling outcomes into actionable insights. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of partnering across technical, media, and data science teams.
